Faceless / TM TM delivers guttural guitar riffs that fire ahead of his howling voice. He not only sings, but he wails, while mixing rhythm and lead guitar in synchronous, ripping melody. Trevor harnesses power and softness vocally to juxtapose intimate ballads and folksongs with gripping punk rock refrains. He truly embodies Rock and Roll. Thanks to multiple outputs from pedals, Faceless runs parallel effects chains to achieve bass and guitar frequencies. Part of his bass chain sends the guitar notes an octave down, and EQ's it to avoid a muddy sound. Instead, bass notes supporting the low end fill out the sound. Thus, Faceless plays both the guitar and bass simultaneously. In his youth, Faceless hitchhiked from Oregon to Nashville with the goal of getting a home-recorded EP of 10 songs to musician, Jack White. He succeeded. On the way, he had spent whole days alone on 100-mile roads, defended himself against a mugging, and met friends come and gone. |
